The past couple of years were banner years for the Mega Family, as we increased our numbers with mega births. We dropped babies by the dozens, including a couple of new twins. Later we will have a full list of new arrivals.
Of course we also suffered some losses, as some of our loved ones were called home. Most recently, we lost Eli Smith Sr., Ceola Smith, Shirley Smith, Willie Curry and President Hinton. I’m also a Jackson as well as a Smith, and there were loses on the Jackson side as well. Lizzie Bloodsaw, and Robert Head were my great aunt and uncle – brother and sister of my fraternal Grandmother. The chain of life cannot be broken.
All of them gave and gave of themselves for the entirety of their long-lived lives, and with each new birth they give again.
